A tutor for any subject, in the language the student chooses

The Fluentix Tutor sits with one student at a time and practises the language they are learning, through conversation, reading, and short writing tasks.

Students choose a tutor and an accent, hear the language spoken, and answer in voice or in text. Free use includes a daily voice allowance in the device voice, and paid teacher and school plans raise those limits, students themselves never see prices, plans, or quotas.

Free: up to 20 tutor sessions a month and 5 voice minutes a day.

Focus mode can pause the tutor when a teacher needs the class's attention, and only the teacher can resume it. That pause, and the learning record around it, are part of how the Tutor fits a real classroom rather than competing with it.

This version is for learners aged 14 and over. A younger version would only be switched on for a school after the required agreements and approvals are in place.

Practise plurals with the group

Some forms only make sense with more than one person in the room: we, you all, and they. In the coming group mode, three tutors share the stage, ask together, and answer as “we”, so the plural forms have a group to point at. Try the preview below.

How group practice works

Animated illustration of the process.
  1. 1

Three tutors share the stage — plurals need a group to point at.

  2. 2

The group asks for a plural form: we, you all, or they.

  3. 3

Pick the plural answer — the other choices are the singular forms, and only the plural is right.

  4. 4

The group answers back as “we”, and a correct answer is celebrated.
